The origin of our boldest BBQ flavors traces back to a family reunion in Tyler, Texas. That’s where the original pitmaster, Jerry Willis, felt the call. Surrounded by kin, smoke, and soul, he watched his family season their meat like it was sacred—rubbing their homemade spice blend deep into every cut before it hit the fire.
Jerry returned home changed. “I’ve never tasted anything so bold,” he said. “The flavor, the aroma—it wasn’t just food. It was legacy.”
